once you watch Star Trek tos all media comes into true perspective: everything is a Star Trek reference
Legit ok, so the first time I watch Star Trek all the way through I was like “wow I really gotta take a break im in too deep already” so I switched to Muppet Pirate Island (I mean what else do you expect me to watch) and within the first 2 minutes Gonzo starts monologuing the Star Trek theme and I’m just like “God damn it there’s no Escape is there”
I had a similar reaction when I finally got around to watching Star Wars (because most things that aren’t a Star Trek reference are Star Wars references)
